Welcome! I'm Shaghayegh and I'm a 23 year old. I live in Hatfield, Hertfordshire AL10 9UY. I have been interested in storytelling since childhood, and drawing and animation are my favorite ways for engaging with stories. My first creative experiences go way back, but then at the age of 18, I was given an scholarship to study Art, Art History and Media in a college in Oxford before attending university. There I learned to understand media, as well as the fundementals of art and the importance of critical thinking. It helped to broaden my knowledge in the creative industry, which now serves to help me in my quest to become a good animator as I am a student in 2D Digital Animation course at the University of Hertfordshire. Uni has helped me to gain experience in making portfolios and practicing 2D animation techniques.

I'm excited to try new styles of animating and film making, and willing to learn new softwares too! 

Ideally, my aim is to work on any 2D role that is character focused, be it design or animation. I enjoy designing new characters for exciting stories and bringing them to life using animation!
